So I’m 17 and i got one for the first time yesterday. I think its a thrombosed external one and its half way between the size of a pea and a marble. I just want to know if this is a one time thing or if I’m gonna have to deal with it for the rest of my life. It doesn’t hurt that much just when i wipe or sit in certain positions. I haven’t told my dad and i don’t plan on it unless it continues. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I’d say have it checked out with a doctor and ask for some steroid cream to help it go down. Because it’s your first time this is the perfect opportunity to make sure it doesn’t happen again because it may get worse if it continues to pop up in the future. Look into what has caused it, have you been stressed, worked out too hard, not eaten healthy? Try to pin point what has caused it so you can avoid it occurring again.
